INTRODUCING OUR FIRST-EVER POSTER CONTEST:

Calling all illustrators, photographers, graphic designers and artists. For the first time ever, we’re hosting a poster design contest for BABES FEST. From now until August 11, you can share your poster designs with us on Instagram using the hashtags #babesfest #babesfest2019 #bfposter19.

The winning poster design of the BABES FEST 2019 POSTER CONTEST will receive two three-day passes for BABES FEST 2019 (to bring a friend), a BABES FEST T-shirt and a celebratory feature on #BBATX’s platforms. Finalists in the contest will receive two complimentary tickets to BABES FEST’s Music Showcase on September 7. All entries for the poster design contest will be featured on the @babesfest Instagram stories. 

HOW TO ENTER:

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: The poster must be created at 5X5 or 8X10 dimensions. The poster must only feature original artwork from the designer creating the poster.

The poster submission must include the following within the design:

  • the BABES FEST logo

  • 2019 BABES FEST dates (September 6, 7 and 8)

  • @babesfest

  • babesfest.com

The poster must be shared to Instagram including the following hashtags in the caption: #babesfest, #babesfest2019 and #BFposter19. The poster design must be posted to Instagram by August 11, 2019 at 11:59 PM CT.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: By using these hashtags and entering the BABES FEST 2019 POSTER CONTEST as an artist, you, the artist, understand that:

  • the design must meet the eligibility requirements listed on this page to be considered for the contest

  • any designs submitted will be shared publicly and recognized publicly across BABES FEST’s and #BBATX’s digital platforms,

  • Instagram, as the platform for this contest, is not liable in any way shape or form for the outcome of this contest,

  • no purchase is necessary to participate in this contest,

  • #BBATX and BABES FEST are in no way liable for the outcome of this contest,

  • the contest and its winnings only extend to BABES FEST 2019, which occurs on September 6, 7 and 8, and that all awards are non-transferable,

  • any submissions featuring hate speech and/or violating BABES FEST, Inc,’s code of conduct will be automatically disqualified from the BABES FEST 2019 POSTER CONTEST and excluded from any and all public recognition and posts regarding the contest,

  • any submissions featuring plagiarized artworks will be automatically disqualified from the BABES FEST 2019 POSTER CONTEST,

  • submissions to the BABES FEST 2019 POSTER CONTEST will not be reproduced and/or distributed without explicit permission from the artist (artists reserve all copyrights for the works submitted),

  • BABES FEST, Inc. is not responsible for the winner’s travel, accommodations and/or any expenses accrued on the winner’s behalf from submitting to the BABES FEST 2019 POSTER CONTEST and/or utilizing complimentary tickets for BABES FEST 2019,

  • and the winner of the contest must claim their prize via email by August 23, 2019 or the prize will not be awarded.

WHAT IS BABES FEST 2019?

BABES FEST is an ~ annual convening of minds ~ in Austin, Texas, celebrating and amplifying women and nonbinary artists. As a weekend-long exhibition, our performances, panels, pop-up markets, film screenings and networking hours span music, film, art, creative education and comedy. BABES FEST 2019 runs from September 6 to September 8, 2019. Tickets and lineup are available at babesfest.org.
